Importance Of Spoken Word

Words have a great meaning in our lives. Words are thoughts about different things. Our word shows what we think about the world. They show our perception. What we speak is about what we feel. Or I should say if we change what we speak we can change what we feel.
When we consciously decide that we will talk in the manner which gives us calm, peace of mind and is approved by our heart then we feel a change. This change makes us feel good about ourselves. Experience a day where you speak making sure that your heart feels

calm you will see that you are more happy and at peace.
Speaking is an action which gives results. When we speak something which gives us pain and is practically correct like “money is everything in the world” it gives us stress or anger. Words are not important corresponding feelings are important.  If I say the same words “money is everything in the world” and feel good about it this will give me a peace of mind and a smile on my face. I feel good because I say it with a perception that money gives me food, books, internet connection, computer etc. I can buy a gift for my loved one with money. So this perception changes the feeling and I feel good about what I say.
Reward of speaking in a way which makes us feel good is peace
and calmness. Peace and calmness is the most essential feeling in the world.
Set a time aside ten to fifteen minutes daily and practice it. Where you feel this life is beautiful or this moment is amazing means that you have chosen the right feelings to convey yourself. You will feel an inner calm and softness.
I’ll give you an example
• You are not hungry and your mom asks you to eat food. Express what you think in a very sweet and calm voice mom I don’t want to eat. If you say the same line with anger then you will feel stress.
It’s an art which comes with practice. One more thing which you can do to learn it is imagine that you are speaking to your friend etc. and speak in such a manner that you get peace.  Continuous practice will help you to do the same thing in reality.
If you see it’s a process of peace generation. Spoken word doesn’t have the power to generate peace as words without our decision doesn’t have any power.  Here, we are using words to give positive emotions. In short, when we are using peaceful words we are creating peaceful emotions and the opposite is also true.
Thank You
